Next Steps for Individuals and Entities Affected by the June 30, 2021 Lytton Fire
VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 19, 2026 /CNW/ -- Following the previously announced certification of the Lytton Fire Class Action by the Supreme Court of British Columbia in December, 2025, Class Counsel is issuing this update to ensure that all individuals, companies, and entities affected by the June 30, 2021 Lytton Fire understand their rights, what comes next, and how to participate in the proceedings.
The lawsuit alleges that Canadian Pacific Railway ("CP") and/or Canadian National Railway ("CN") caused or ignited the Lytton Fire, which devastated the Village of Lytton and surrounding areas. The class action seeks compensation on behalf of all those who suffered losses, injuries, or damages as a result of the fire.
